Does left and right refer to handlebar position of remote trigger?

It does. The trigger is angled slightly so that it points at either your left or right thumb.

yes the lever is slighty angled to work with your thumb like your shifter lever.

How long is the cable and the exposed part of seatpost ?
Just to check how this could fit my frame. As "exposed length" I mean the overall length (from base of the collar to base of the saddle rail) with seatpost fully exposed. Please specify if you have the 100 or 125mm drop type. thanks

'Exposed length' on 125mm drop version=180mm. 'Exposed length' on the 100mm drop version=130mm.
