For its fans to have a bit of variety, there are new and extra colours. The SL version with different anchor point and angles to the hip fins, narrower shoulder straps and slightly shorter back is geared up for women's trans-alps.

Map compartment?
Hi,
I was wondering if this Deuter Trans Alpine 30 is the new 2011 version with a map compartment on the side?

Will you at some point get the bag in the ocean-granite and fire-granite colors?

The one I just bought - 3 weeks ago has the map compartment on the side.

Current stock is the 2010 bag without the map compartment. We have no current plans to stock the other colours at this time.
