Question

How hot a wash will these bottles take?

For sterilisation purposes I like to put my water bottles through a high temperature wash.

Hi - it withstood a standard dishwasher cycle. I would recommend you look at sterilization products for baby bottles, something like Miltons Liquid. These products have been successfully protecting the countries youth for years and don't involve high temperatures.

I run mine through the hot cycle on my dishie, around 85C, not a problem, they come out sparkling and not a puddle on the bottom of the dishie

I put mine in the dishwasher after every use on a 'normal wash' setting. No probs so far.

Goes through my dishwasher fine at 60 degrees, and hand washes as hot as I can hack - bottle body goes a bit soft but doesn't deform.

For around 2.50 a bottle, I doubt they will be BPA free... I can't see that water in one of these bottles for a few hours would constitute a issue. BPA as you know is a endocrine disruptor, and the jury is still out as to whether it really constitutes a health issue or not
