Questions & Answers for Mizuno Wave Ascend 5 Shoes AW10

Question
I have a pair of Wave Nirvana's and love them as they offer the support that I need and allow me to wear my orthotics. Is Ascend suitable for me too ?

Hi,

The Ascend is the trail version of the Elixir so won't be as supportive as the Nirvanas. I personally find that off-road I prefer a shoe that provides a bit more support than I'd want on-road, so given that the Precisions are my regular road shoe, the Ascends suit me just fine. If you're the same, then I'd suggest you try the Cabrakans. Don't go for the Harriers - they're even more flexible than the Ascends in the midsole.

I am sorry but they are very different shoes so I can't say if these will be suitable for you. You should try to find somewhere to try them on before ordering.
