Question
Hello! What is the appropriate bottom bracket for a traditional threaded? does a threaded BB effect the 156 Q factor? Thank's in advance!
I'm looking for an MTB double chainset for a 68mm threaded bottom bracket with the narrowest possible Q factor. I will run it with 9 speed transmission which I guess work's ok with a narrower 10 speed chainset? Do you have any other recomendation? Sram/truvati seem to be the most appropriate.
Kind regard's, Steve.

The 156 Q Factor is inclusive of the GXP bottom bracket cups on this chainset. I wouldn't recommend using a 9 speed chain on this chainset though, it won't be a good match and may cause some further issues down the line.

Question
What BB cups are compatible with this?
Hi
will I be able to use my exsisting XTR cups?

I see Hope offers an GXP adaptor set for their BB.

Will my Xtr BB work, could I use the Hope adaptors with the Shimano?

To ensure the bets fitting it is always advised to use the cup type that is required for the chainset. In this case we would only advise using the GXP cups.
