2 brake cables, 2 gear cables, 2 brake housings + a little ont for the rear brake link, and 3 gear housings for handlebars and rear mech. Plus all the ferrules and housing endings. That should cover any bike I think!

This is a gear and brake cable set, you should need only one set for a full bike.

One set covers the gears and brakes. you will find all you need in one pack.
The gear and brake cable outers are different in the Yokazuna cable set. The gear cables have longitudinal fibres to prevent compression when you shift making them very quick and crisp with shifts. The brakes a have a spiral metal band running through them. You will see the difference when you open the pack. You'll want a proper cable cutter to cut the outers properly.

Question
internal cable routing
are the brake cable housings long enough to route inside the frame? Tried nukon cables a few years ago and they only had 2 short housings for the rear brake as they assumed a frame would have just the cable running along the top tube, with stoppers as each end

It may be long enough but the housing is slightly thicker than regular brake housing and may be a tight fit. Also it is stiffer and may not bend around tight corners easily.

Yes. There is plenty of supplied brake cable outer, unless you have a recumbent!

For internal routing you will likely need to order additional housing for the internal sections, it does depend on how your routing is laid out but generally cable manufacturer's do not cater for internal routing without additional purchases.

You might struggle with these Yakazuna cables for that purpose. The brake liters particularly are very inflexible which is good for braking performance but less flexible for fitting. These diameter of the brake outer is also wider making the fitting to a P3 even hard than it normally is.

Question

There have been issues with the compatibility of these cables with Ultegra 6700 or Dura-Ace 7900 brake callipers. These brakes do not utilize a ferule on the calliper end and the cable is too large to fit into the calliper hole. These cables can be modified to fit but performance quality is not as good as it should be.

There can be issues with these cables (and others) when routed internally as they are quite large. If you find standard cables tight you should avoid these, if you have space to move the cable around a little you should be fine.
