I do not have an iPhone but am sure that it would work fine. You need to enable to Nike+ app which can be done in Settings on your phone.

Yes, it will work with the Nike+ APp that is preloaded on your Iphone, and also the Nike+ GPS App

I dont specifically know about the 3gs, but the 3gs supports the nike+ kit so i would assume so. If you've got the GS, you can load the OS4 onto it now anyway, so that will defo work then.

Yes.That sensor is working properly with my Iphone3GS,it is a great thing,you just have to instal a software from App store.

It depends on what you are using as your device. If you use iphone, ipod touch then it works fine.But if you use an ipod nano, you need the whole kit.

At the moment I do not use the sports arm band but previous Nike+ app works with the sensor.

Yes. It works with the sportsband AND ipod. Bought one to replace the sensor I had worn out. I use the sportsband.

Yes!
As mentioned in the sportsband manual you will need to hold down the side toggle button for 5 seconds so that it can connect to the new sensor.
