I'm a young rider and I chose the smallest size and found that they occasionally slipped. I recommend pulling them up higher than needed so that they stay snug and don't slip.

I have large thighs and a 36 inch waist so i bought large. They kept falling down all the time so i had to send them back, i.e go a size smaller than you might expect. I found the elstic was too loose

I am 5'8" and i got the SM size. They are about right for me and fairly snug.
Get the size up i would suggest as they wouldnt want to be any shorter on me.
Cheers

The Lycra knee warmers are plain lycra, the roubaix version has a brushed interior which has a warming effect.
