According the little Asics book I got with a Fitness mag, these are supposed to be neutral. I have a slight pronation and find them really comfortable but are definitely more suited for off flat surface running than on road/treadmill/park etc.

According to http://www.asics.co.uk/running/shoe_adviser?gender=Men&use=running&pronation=over#gender=Men&use=running&weight=&pronation=over&surface=&distance=&competition_category=&track_event= they are for people who over-pronate.

However I don't think it actually matters if you are running off-road where the surface is uneven. It matters more on a hard running surface, such as road or treadmill.
