The light comes with one set of disposable batteries. You must buy rechargeables and a charger for them. It's worth it as you can get spare batteries and carry them on rides. The only disadvantage with this light is the battery life on full power. If you're just getting one light the Joystick maybe more suitable as it has more punch and rechargeable cell comes within the light.

Apparently charger and corresponding batteries can be bought from Spark website.

answer 3
From what I've seen you can buy a charger/batteries for about $30 or £18 but that would have to be a completely separate unit, this light needs batteries to be replaced when they are dead.

It turns out safe rechargeable CR-123A batteries don't fit in this light, they are too long.
Dangerous unprotected one's probably will but then you risk a fire or explosion if anything shorts out.

Exposure dont respond to enquiries so I bought one in the end - 3.0v lithium disposable or via the mode switch 3.7 Li-Ion rechargeable. (Well its meant too but mine is DOA)
