Question
How to insert the batteries??
Hi,
Sorry this seems like a stupid question, but I've bought this light and can't get it open to put the batteries in.

I can see the small indent on one side of the light, but can't pull apart the light cover and the backing.

Is it just a case of pulling the two bit apart?

I didn't want to force it too much in case I break the light, but at the moment I can't get it open.
Thanks

Yes, it is just a matter of pulling them apart. Insert a coin and twist it.

answer 6
Yes you just need to pull it apart. The best way to do it safely is to insert a coin edge into the dip and twist the coin, this will pry the light open without the need for force.

Probably could, put a shim in if need be.

Turns vertical by loosening one screw, turning and retightening

answer 2
The bracket is adjustable enough to mount on a seat stay but would probably need extra packing for a thin stay.

answer 3
This does depend on the shape of the stay but you would be hard pressed to get it to tighten properly. Around 22mm is the smallest I would go for a mounting point. You can turn the light 90 degreed on the mount so you can mount it vertically.

Yes, I've had this light for about 5 months now and I've had no water ingress, even in the worst weather.

I use these all year round withoutt any water ingress (and the rain in Perth is as wet as the rain everywhere else, except perhaps NZ)
