Hi, I know you need a specific BB30 cups for this chainset, but is it frame specific? Or would the BB30 fit a frame that currently is set up for GXP/ Shimano Hollowtech? e.g. Planet X Nanolight..

Frame specific. Geneaology is thus; Hollowtech put the bearing/cups on the outside of the standard bottom bracket. Cannondales BB30 then put the bottom bracket/frame on the outside of those previously outboard bearings. Since its Shimano versus Cannondale I can't imagine there are too many parts that are interchangeable if any.

You do need a specific BB30 frame in order to use a BB30 bottom bracket and crankset.

Hi,
Will this crankset work with Campagnolo front derailleur ? I assume it will but want to be sure.
Also what BB bracket do I need to buy ?
What tools do I need to fit the crank and BB ?

As long as you have Campagnolo shifters that shouldn't be a issue. You will need a Truvativ or Sram GXP bottom bracket to use with this chainset. You will also need a 16t lockring tool for Hollowtech II and GXP bottom bracket cups.

Question

Is this BB30 chainset compatible with a Focus Cayo Expert from 2010?

I bought this BB30 chainset for my Focus Cayo Expert 2010 along with the standard bearing assembly kit. I took it to the bike shop to have it fitted, however the mechanic says it is not compatible with the bike. The current chainset is the GXP FSA Energy one that came with the bike.

Can you confirm if this SRAM Force BB30 chainset is compatible with my Focus Cayo Expert 2010, and if I need any more parts except for the standard bearing assembly kit I already bought in order to fit this to my bike?

Unfortunately the BB30 chainset is not compatible with the GXP bottom bracket shell that this bike comes with. There is no conversion kit available.
