Questions & Answers for Kiron Mistral Road Bike Frame

Question
Does the frameset come as pictured with the headset and fork fitted? Also, where is the extra fork steerer to clamp the stem to? Can't see it in pic.

Be aware, the frame does NOT come as pictured. As mentioned previously the fork is not fitted (but that is not a major piece of work once the excess paint is sanded off). Also, there are no decals on the Easton fork (it is plain boring red). In addition, there are no gear cable barrel adjusters supplied for the down tube (even though they are pictured) nor is there a gear cable guide on the bottom of the Bottom Bracket shell. Finally, no bolts for the bottle cage bosses. Small items some of these may be but they can be difficult to purchase on their own.

The forks come separately so need to be fitted. The bearings and associated rings/shims come with it also. They come with plenty of steerer tube which needs to be cut to length. I bought spacers when I bought this frame. I needed to clear some paint from the head tube where the bearings sit in order to fit properly, but that is not so tricky.

The headset supplied with the frame is a FSA Orbit I 36/45 degree 1 1/8" headset. We do not stock this separately but we do stock some compatible headsets. I will link the closest example below.
