One light tube that has two settings, either a fix light beam or flashing light. Great light if you want to be seen easily!

Question
How easy is it to take these on and off?
For example, is it easy enough that I could quickly take it off everyday when I lock my bike up somewhere (and easily put it back on when I return)?

Absolutely. The clips are quick, easy and secure. I reckon that it would take less than 30 seconds to do

answer 2
It takes seconds to put on or take back off, just two easy to use ladder shaped rubber straps that fit into two metal clips and even that sounds more complicated than it actually is.

The straps are made from silicone so it is very quick to unhook.

answer 4
It is quite easy to take it off and put it on. There are two hard clips on either end, through which you run a soft flexible (included) rubber strip and tie it around any part of your bike or helmet. I think they could have done a better job in making it even simpler, but it is certainly acceptable.

I have only used mine a few times and despite it being tricky in the first instance to fit, it is easy enough to take off and on everyday. It just has two clips (one each end) that slot into the rubber fittings. You simply slide it off. I have to do the same everyday.

answer 6
Taking it off is really easy as the strap is elastic. I would say it takes me 10 seconds to have it off. Putting it on takes slightly longer as you need to position it when you put it on (unlike mounted lights, which are in position already). However, I don't think it will take longer than 30s.

Certainly, if you attach it to your cycling top or bag. Slightly more faffing using the frame clips but even then it's pretty simple.

It's done the do for me so far but it relies on the silicone's tension against the plastic core. No sealing as such. I'm getting some silicone grease just to be sure...

It's pretty good, but it's not fully waterproof, and you'd want to think about which way you attach it (vertical or horizontal) to avoid water ingress. You'd want to watch out for water getting into the battery compartments at either end.

There are rubber caps on both sides. If you mount it vertically the top one is safe for sure and the lower one is probably not a problem unless it rains cats and dogs. But if you're really concerned you could just seal it additionally with tape on the lower rubber cap.

I just bought one and it's 28cm from top to bottom entirely. That's almost exactly 11 inches if that helps. It should fit most b-stays on any frame (except MAYBE some specialist downhill frames).

Hope this helps.

Just one. You can by a double pack, but that costs more. If you want an extra rear light I suggest you get the short versions as they wiil fit on the rear wheel stems easily.

There are guidelines depending on which country, that dictate what colour lights you can have flashing on your bike. This might be why they only sell the red ones?

Well for me, this light is facing the rear, which is the most dangerous area i think, and it is definitely the Ultimate light, so bright, especially on flashing. My mates can tell it's me from 500metres away on the flat, and I think having a white one on the front, or any other colour, might actually confuse car drivers?
anyway, nothing is better than this on the rear..
