Yes, they have a wavy design elastic type gripper at both top and bottom.

Yes, grippers both top and bottom that seem to do the job. On long rides you may need to pull the tops up 'suspender style' periodically but not that often

I am 6 foot. and I brought large They fit well and I have room to spear as they go up my thigh and I have about 3 inches extra

The only difference is the length the small/medium is 280mm long and the large/xl is 320mm long.

Well, I am kinda slim, I have climbers legs, and when it comes to knee warmers I prefer them to be tighter than looser, when they are loose they just fall down and being lycra, tightness is not an issue so for me I always buy small ones because the larger ones always end up on my ankles. the small covered my knees and stayed put.

The small/medium and the large/xl cicumference at the top is 360mm. The small/medium and the large/xl circumference at the bottom is 280mm The small/medium length is 280mm. The large/xl length is 320mm.
