This bracket would not fit oval seatposts.

Sorry but we do not currently stock the larger SQR brackets.

We do not recommend using any clamp on your carbon seatpost which will support weight.

It comes with complete seat post fittings.

I think you may have problems with contact on this saddle bag and your wheel or the bottom of your saddle. Without testing it it would be too difficult to tell unfortunately. You could order the bag, attempt fitment and return to us unused if the bag doesn't fit.

There is no set clearance value, as long as the tyre doesn't touch the bag when in use it should be fine. Generally all parts of a bike have some flexability so you should be aware that the wheel and bag may make contact if positioned too closely together.

The SQR bracket fits to the frame so shouldn't be effected by what saddle you use.

Unfortunately Carradice do not advertise a maximum weight capacity for this bag. It is quite sturdy though so should be fine for use on a Off road full suspension MTB.

The suppliers have suggested that we will receive this back in stock during mid october.

I have fitted the SQR on a carbon seatpost and its been fine. The main point is not to overlaod the bag. Also the SQR fitting is made up of 2 metal ring clasps which can easy scratch the carbon post. Other than that its a great bag and you can put in everything for a days tour for all weathers!
