The regulars (x-long is for MTBs).

The std length is perfect for my 2004 700c road bike.

answer 3
In theory it would be the standard size but they can always be cut shorter,so an XL set may cover all possibilities. It is best to measure your bike's axle length and the thickness of the dropouts before buying.

The Hope Pro2 is a standard mountain bike setup, so the 6MM version is the one for you unless your frame material is wider than 6mm thick at the rear dropouts.

Yes they are. My own application induces greater stress than regular aggressive XC mountain biking can.

HECK YES! These are awesome. I'd put a little dob of chain lube or grease on the inside end of the hex head to help you tighten it against the shoulder.

The 6mm version is the correct one for standard XC mountain bike frames.

answer 2
what matters is not the wheels, but the dropouts. In my exp more expensive bikes have thicker dropouts. at stumpjumper level, yes i think its thick. For safety, just buy the xl one, in the package they reccomend to trim the excess axle if its too long, so better buy the xl and cut it if its too long, rather than the short one.

I think the standard [6mm] is the right choice.

Your Rincon will have standard XC 6mm dropouts. It's the width of the frame (the actual dropout itself) as viewed from BEHIND the bike.

answer 3
6 and 10mm refers to the width of the skewer. If your bike has quick release you will find that the 6mm skewer is the one you need.

They claim 70g for the std length. (75 for x-longs).

I weighed mine (digital gram scale) and got 72g, so it looks accurate.

I use a clamp from Hope (sold on here somewhere I think) that does the same thing.

Messed around with skewers for clamps in the past, but they never quite fit the clamp itself, so figured best to buy one that's meant to work that way.

You will probably need to replace the whole seat clamp (i.e. both collar and bolt) with a non-QR version. These are widely available. Check the diameter of your seat tube first!
