I am after a good value compact chainset for my Bianchi 928 L, to replace existing bianchi 53/39 set up? Is SRAM Rival decent/compatible?
Other components/parts on the bike are all Shimano Ultegra.

oh, this is a more than decent crank. i think this is compatible with any ten speed drivetrain, i used it with dura ace chain and ultegra derailer, and it works fine.

I used Rival myself and I never had a single issue with any part of it. It is very high quality and reliable. Also fully compatible with your existing Ultegra parts.

What is BCD please?
There are 2 weights mentined, 188 &830gm, is 188 weight of chain rings? so how does this weight compare with others ie SRAM Red, Shimano Ultegra

Sorry the 188g weight is not related and has been removed. The weight of the cranks with BB is 830g. This is compared to SRAM Red at 760g w/BB (GXP), 630g w/BB (BB30). Shimano Ultegra 6700 weight including bottom bracket is 785g.
