Which size - M or L
I am 6'1", 41`" chest, 34"-35" waist, longish arms. Would size L be way too bulky? Would the sleeves on a M be long enough?

I have a similar build as you and got the L. It fits well, but the sleeves could be a tad longer.

Sleeves are pretty long, so a M should fit the sleeves. M should be right chest wise too. Body length may be ok, but I'm a bit shorter at 5'11"

No way mate, follow the chart and get the XL unless you have really short torso and arms.

would say snug! Im 38 chest 33 waist and the large is that big on me. Go xl or xxl!

With the measurements provided I would suggest you try a large size as the XL may be too big.
