Questions & Answers for Cateye HL-EL220 and TL-LD150 Light Set
Question
Quick release?
Are these lights able to quickly clip on and off the mounting bracket? I lock my bike up in a public place each day and would like to be able to also quickly remove the lights from the mounting brackets that are attached it the bike.Thanks.

I would not say so, especially in the cold :( maybe it's just me but I think they are a pain to take off.

The lights are easily removed from the mounting brackets with a quick release clip. The brackets are also easily removed without tools if you are worried about them being stolen, although bracket removal does take a lot longer.

Question
Can I use rechargeables with this EL320 or with the Cateye EL220?
Yep, I use the hybrid rechargeable batteries. I think they are the 2100mAh ones.

answer 3
We would not recommend using rechargable batteries because they often have less power than standard battaries and some lights will not work using them.

I've been out in some extremely wet conditions with them and they worked fine. I've not submerged them in water to see if they work, but from a rainproof perspective I would say yes they are.
