answer 3
Not as such, you can measure the length of your bottom bracket shell, 68mm is English, 70mm is Italian. Due to the very close numbers though this isn't ideal. Most frames are 68mm, usually only Italian frame manufacturer's use 70mm and even then some still use 68mm. Best to check with the manufacturer of your frame but if it is one of the big US or EU brands such as Specialized, Giant, GT or similar you will likely have a 68mm English shell.

Question
Will this be compatible with a "07 Giant TCR C2?
The bike came with all 105 gear but I figure if I'm going to replace the bottom bracket I might as well upgrade it if I can. Also, would I need English thread?

Not a problem to fit this as an upgrade, depends if you are using a compact or triple, you may need to re-align the chain line with spacers. To start witrh use any that are on the exsisting bottom bracket

Yes, it is available in both common frame threads which are English(68mm wide shell) and Italian (70mm wide shell). I believe Giant road bikes use an English 68mm shell.

Hi , it should do , I have fitted one along side an Ultegra 6600 chainset. Check out the Shimano web site it has a break down of compatible parts. I cannot see Shimano altering the axle diameter on the Hollowtech 2 system.

If the crankset is HollowTech then it will fit. This bottom bracket will fit any of the Shimano 10sp road cranksets that are HollowTech.

The FAQ section of the Shimano website has a compatibility checklist.

The Argon 18 Gallium Pro uses a English 68mm shell bottom bracket. The Italian bottom bracket size is 70mm and also has a reverse thread on one of the cups.

Not sure if this will help but, I replaced a MegaExo BB, FSA Gossemer chainset, with a DA one on a Planet-X Uncle John and it fits both the chainset and frame perfectly. I think you'll be OK as long as your chainset isn't a GXP one, those need additional spacers.

answer 2
I am sure the bottom bracket will fit the frame but make sure that you have a Shimano Hollowtech II chainset or compatible chainset as there are other standards such as mega Exo or GXP that may not be compatible
