As the braking surface is aluminium, standard pads are fine.

No aluminium brake surface

The rims for brake are normal aluminum,
so you can use normal brake pads.
(don't need to use brake pad for carbon rims)

The rim is alloy and requires normal brake pads.

No, just your normal everday brake pad that comes with the bike. Awesoome wheels.

Nope , designed to run a standard pad.

I have these for over a year now and were a great upgrade.

Although for the small difference in price, go the dura-ace version, same wheel, better hubs.
