Question
Rear Wheel Sensor?
I'm looking for a HRM/Computer solution that will be compatible with my turbo trainer and would therefore like to know if the sensor is rear wheel mountable.

This product installs the speed sensor in the front.

It installs on the back and it is impossible.

The thing used together with other products is advanced.

I also am doing so.

It is possible to mount it on the rear wheel, but...
I tried the same thing, however, I found that the distance was just a little too far to the unit on the stem. I figured that if I was prepared to have the head unit in the top tube I might get it to work but it wasn't very easy to see.
My advice is get the cadence sensor as this allows you to focus on steady pedaling at different power levels.

I've got a CS200, and instructions say maximum distance between computer and sensor is 50cm.

Question
Turbo trainer
Can the heart rate monitor be used independently of the speed function? i'm want to use it on a turbo trainer to a fixed heart rate programme but can see that the bike speed detector has to be fitted to the front of the bike so I won't get a speed measure.

It uses it together with other products (cateye).

The sensor for the back is used for the product.
