I think this is to do with the size of the rubber grips rather than the metal ends - the pads are supposed to 'ergonomically' fit the palm of your hand, so (excusing the generalisation) probably S if a woman and L if a man?

answer 3
There is a diffrence in the length of grips. I ordered the medium at first but had to send them back as I felt really cramped up on them. I don't have large hands.

Small to medium sized hands (Size S: 6.5 – 8.5) as well as for middle to larger sized hands (Size L: 8.5 – 10.5). The sizes given are the same as used for glove sizes.

match your gloves size to the grips, L\XL gloves get the large grips

I use XL gloves of all type, and I bought the large grips with bar ends. Glad I did because otherwise edge of hand would be pushing against bar end uncomfortably. Although, bar ends not crucial IMHO.

answer 3
I have the larger of the grips, my hands aren't that big, medium glove, and the grips are fine size wise.
These are very very comfortable, frankly quite decadent really. I was concerned that they would just be an expensive gimmick but they are clearly not, worth every penny, certainly would not go back to standard grips.

answer 4
The two sizes only relate to the size of the rest on the grip, the grips do not get longer. If you have large hands you should purchase the large size for best comfort, it will not take up additional bar space.

Question
Do you stock the Rohloff/Nexus grips of the Ergon GR2?
I have a nexus handle bar gripshift-type bike. I want to order a pair of the GR2 grips that is 132mm long for the left and the right, 96mm. Do you stock these or I choose the just "gripshift" you put up here?

The gripshift grips are shorter on both left and right grips than the standard. To accomodate the grip shift shifters. Choosing just the grip shift could cause you to have one grip that is only half length.
