My road bike has a SRAM rival compact crankset and I want to upgrade this to a 53/39, either SRAM Rival or Red. Can you advis eme as to whether I can use the same Bottom Bracket? I'm assumuning I can, but I am not sure.

I have a boardman pro carbon with BB30 bottom bracket and SRAM force chainset - i am looking to lower the gearing (too old for hills) - it seems that in the force range a compact ratio set is not available, if i went for the SRAM red compact chainset would I need a new bottom bracket or would my current setup fit?

Hi I want to order the SRAM Red B/B but want to check compatibility please – I have removed a RED compact from a frame with BB30 & sold the frame. I want to continue with the chainset but the new frame needs a bottom bracket – am I OK to order this one and has the English threaded version red anodised. Thanks.

I have a Focus Cayo 2007 and am looking to replace the current groupset with SRAM Force/Red. Can you tell me if I need english or italian thread bottom bracket? I'm guessing that the BB shell size will accomodate a GXP BB rather than a BB30 one.

I have a Truative Style Oct crank and want to know what bottom brackets are compatible. Is it any BB with the acronym GXP in the name? The BB that I took out of the bike had a machined washer on the non drive side between the bearing and the crank arm. I assume that I need to choose a BB that has this washer, but it is unclear to me which ones they are.
