Seven day MTB tour. Will the Profile Aqua Rear Mount two-bottlecage hold up? Or do I risk to have cage and bottles fall off on bumpy trails?

I see you have several seat mounted bottle cages, which ones would be good for the trails/ bumps?

As long as you tighten to the recommended tension then there will be no issues on whatever road you ride

Don't even think about using this for a bumpy MTB ride - the bolts on mine broke off after only 100km's on a roadbike.

The reviews seem to indicate that if it is attached very well and your bottles are good fits that this would be a good sturdy option.

Profile Design make, or did make, two versions. One attaches to your seat-post, the other is for aero-type (i.e. not round) seat posts and attaches to your saddle rails,.
Saddle rail mount version is a bit fiddly to attach, but once it's on and with the cage-angle where you want them it's all good.

it doesnt clamp on the seat post but to the rails under the saddle

This bottle cage fits to the rails of the saddle, not to the seatpost. You should be fine using this as long as your saddle rails are standard sizes.

This is a common problem with this system and why many bike shops won't stock them in my area. You can get one (Profile Designs) that attaches directly to your seat post and doesn't have this problem
