Yes they are as I have a motorbike a Suzuki GSX1250FA and I wear Full leathers and I can now get these Knee Braces underneath my Leather and I have a Bike that I do Cycling as well and yes you can wear them as I've been wearing the old style Wraparound Knee Braces and they are fine it takes a bit getting used to wearing them while cycling but you will Manage take care kind regards,

I currently use mine on my road bike. If your setup correctly you should have no issues as cycling you almost fully extend the leg when your peddle is at the bottom. I haven't had any problems so far and I bought mine mainly for cycling.

I've never tried. My knee problems are all to do with lateral stability. When I cycle I experience no rotational stress so don't use it. If the area where you experience difficulty is above the knee then this brace would make no difference
