The restricted steering cannot be adjusted, but just prevents turning in too tight a circle and then falling off. Although restricted, because the bike is so light, the child can just pick up the bike if they want to turn around.

The restricted steering cannot be adjusted. But it turns enough for what a kid this size and age is going to be doing on it.

answer 3
This bike has restricted steering as standard, meaning it will only turn around 45degrees to the left or the right, however it also comes with a block so you can restrict the steering completely so it will only ride in a straight line.

The First Bike is made of plastic. Don't take this as a negative though. It is very durable and light. The weight (or lack there of) of the bike makes it much easier for the kids to learn on.

Question
FirstBike Cross with Brake Pedal-Free Kids Bike
I was trying to add this bike to my basket to purchase for my two year old daughter but the price jumped from £80 to £95 on placing it into my basket?!
I went in and out of the web page to recheck the price, yet each time I added it the price proceeded to get more expensive once placed into the basket.
Have you just raised the price of this bike? I am very keen on ordering this kind of bike so could I purchase it at the price that was advertised initially please?
If someone could get back to me as soon as possible that'd be great.
Many thanks in advance..

This bike is £95 on our website and has been since 2009 so I can't explain why it was showing a difference price to you. I can only suggest that you check your currency and destination settings under the "Basket" on the right hand side of the website. Different currencies and despatch locations can affect the price of items based on VAT amounts and exchange rates.

Unfortunately because this item is in the bike section the postage for bikes is automatically added at checkout. Just add a note to the order so we don't miss it and we will happy reduce/remove the postage costs from your order before it is despatched.

Postage for this item is free but it will show postage costs in the basket display as it is currently considered a bike by our system. If you place a note with the order stating that you want free delivery we will remove the shipping cost for you.
