Customer Questions & Answers for
Lizard Skins Peaty Lock On Handlebar Grips

Peaty is the new signature grip from Steve Peat. The Peaty grip has a small diameter for a more direct feel. It features a soft compound chocolate block pattern for increased grip and it has "Peaty" inscribed on it, for increased cool. The Peaty grip comes in two colours to match your bike. Graphite grey with red anodized Lock-On collars or, for the full patriotic effect, bright white with contrasting red and blue collars.

Yes, they are hollow. They are basically rings that lock onto the bar with a grub screw. The bar ends I used slipped over my handle bar, so I had to move my grips in around 20mm to allow this.
These grips will work with both bar ends that slide over the bar, or go in the actual handlebar.

Yes, the securing rings are hollow (same rings on each end of grip), so you can fit bar ends.

Question
Can you please tell me if you are able to have the red locks at the ends and still have the "Peaty" sign showing on both grips.
From the pictures it looks like you have the right side with the red lock at the end and the left side with the blue lock at the end.

Makes no difference, they are identical except for the anodising (colour)
So in essence, yes, whatever colour you want on the end, you can put.

The ends come loose so you can fit them however you want, My only advise would be to work it all out first because once you've clicked the lock sections on the ends of the grips I'm not sure how easy they would be to get off again.

Each grip has a red and lblue lock. You choose which way you want them. "Peaty "shows either way

Hi, I bought some of these and your answer is yes.

This is because you fit the clamps to the grips so you can choose which end each colour goes on. The Peaty is written on top and below the grip. So you can swap them once the clamps are fitted.

A tip to fitting the clamp is to line-up the insert on the clamp to the tabs on the grip and place the clamp on a bench with the grip on top. You need to push very hard down onto the grip towards the bench to get the clamp to clip over the grip tabs.

Also wash your hands before fitting them as the white quickly picks up dirt.

Enjoy
