dont take my word for this but i think you might be able to with a spacer kit otherwise ask your LBS and they will be able to give you an answer.

they look different to the wheelsets on the mavic site.

aksium race 2008 are 1950grams and 2009 aksium race are 1810 give or take a gram or two also different hubs on 2009 hope that helped
