Measure from the bottom bracket bolt to the end of the crank arm this will give you an accurate measure of your crank length.

To measure the size of your crank arms you measure along the crank arm from the centre of the bottom bracket axle to the centre of the pedal axle.

Question
Shimano Hollowtech II Crank spares
Hi
I've broken the (non drive side) crank thread cap thingy (I know, hard to explain, but it's the little plastic cap that screws into the crank arm side bottom bracket spigot/shaft with the special Shimano tool (that's supposed to stop you over tightening it -wrong!).
Can you give me a part number so i can order one please?
Thanks

Question
Can i use a 10speed cassette?
I know this chainset says 9sp, but could i use it with a 10speed cassette? if so i presume a long cage rear derailleur would be needed.

Cheers
Daren

It is not ideal, you would also need to use a 10 speed chain which will not run perfectly on a 9 speed chainset. So I would not recommend mixing speeds.
