Questions & Answers for LifeLine Cable And Housing Cutters

Question
Can you crimp cable ends with this?
It looks like there may be a place to crimp the cable ends above the spring but I'm unsure.

Thanks for any information,
Paul

You can if you're careful. But overdo it and you'll cut right through the cable and cable end! (I know this from experience!)

I used the bit above the spring to cut the cable and the other side of the spring to cut the housing. Not sure if this is right or not but it worked for me. The bit above the spring might be a bit sharp to crimp the cable ends. I just used my regular (old and a bit blunt) pliers to crimp the cable ends.

No, but this is easily done with any pair of pliers. Fine-nose ones probably best though.
