hi, how do you transfer the data to your computer and do you need to buy anything else to be able to do it. thx

You need a Polar infrared display adapter (irda) and Polar Protrainer software.

The irda you have to get depends on your watch and operating system. Go to the Polar website for more info on that.

You need the IrDA adaptor, which is sold separately

To get my S625X to work I had to buy an IrDA device - got it for £15 from Maplin

hi nugg, you need to buy a separate IR (infrared) receiver that plugs into a USB port on your PC/Laptop. the Polar version is expensive(about £35) i have a Belkin USB-IrDA, bought online for £4.00 + pp.they work a treat. you'll need to load the software that comes with watch then follow instructions, very straightforward.
