there is a sun & light rain cover included. you can buy separately a full rain cover, designed for this model.

Not sure what a 'full kid comfort rain cover is, but it does come with a cover for babies head. It zips into the back part and easily comes out when needed. Babies head is protected from rain and sun which was very important for us.
