answer 1
these drinks never get fizzy!

100g of the poweder contain 91g carbs; 1l drink contains 6% carbs. that's what i used to calculate that you get 22,75 litres out of 1,5kg powder

It is not fizzy, it is still.
If you use the suggested 4 x 25g scoops per litre, you will get 15 bottles.

answer 3
It is NOT fizzy when mixed (assuming you mix it with tap water). For a one litre bottle, you'll need four level scoops of powder providing a 6% concentrated solution. Four scoops equates to approx 60g so you should get around 25 litre bottles out of a 1.5kg tub. Hope this helps.

answer 4
Torq recommend that you mix it to a 6% solution, so by simple maths, 1.5kg will make 25 litres of solution.

It should not be fizzy when you mix it, except for a few seconds if you shake air into your mix.

No, not fizzy.
About 4 scoops to a litre, so it'll last a fair while.

answer 7
It's not fizzy - it tastes only vaguely of orange barley water style squash once mixed up.

You're meant to do four scoops per litre to reach a six per cent concentration - ideal for full-on riding/excercise.

Four scoops, according to Torq is 65g. So a tub would be 23 litres. I reckon on a recent South Downs Way epic I got more than that out of a tub - maybe 50 per cent more (30-35 litres).

The 6 per cent solution delivers 60g of carbs per litre, and you're meant to drink a litre per hour in heavy excercise. And then top up to your kg body weight in g (ie I weigh 80kg, therefore I needed to top up 20g of carbs from bars and gels on top of the 60 I was getting from the drink).

No, its not fizzy, but does take some shaking to get it mixed. Not sure how long a tub will last but 2 scoops per/500ml seems to be lasting real well for all the rides I do

Not fizzy and a 1.5kg tub will last you a long time. Then again, I don't know how much you drink, how often you cycle and for how long.

that depends on how your nutrion and hydrations status is before workout. generally i would drink a bit directly before starting to train; you don't have to start drinking it half an hour before - this is not a protein shake! trust your feeling and your thirst as to when and how much you drink before, during and after workout.

It's commonly known that you need 1g of carbs per kilo of body weight per hour of exercise, i would suggest 3 scoops in 750ml within one hour of the session and one during.
Hope this helps

I use it for cycling and drink it all the way through a ride. Just drink from the start of your session until the end - whenever you are thirsty (little and often).

The usual advice is to sip the drink a hour before excersise-then stop drinking 20mins before exercise. Start again during exercise.

I would start drinking it 15 to 20 minutes before.....when I'm on my bike it kicks in very fast but that maybe because I only start drinking after about 15 minutes when my metabolism is pepped up!

Then continue throughout the 2hr workout.

I am no expert! But before going on a ride I have a bottles worth 1/2 hr before I set off, a bottles worth 1/3 in to my ride (with a banana) and a bottle 2/3 into my ride. I seem to have boundless energy through out a 3 hr+ ride. I actually get bored before I run out of energy.

Question
Sodium content
How much sodium content is there in this drink per litre? I'm looking for a powder that will give me a decent amount of sodium as I lose a lot through sweating <yuck!>
If this is low content could you give a suitable alternative? Thanks.

I made an estimate that it is 550mg per litre - but this is just an estimate based on mixing it up to the suggested strength. It is pretty typical of energy or electrolyte drinks. Nuun has slightly more as does the new Gatorade G Series Energy and electrolyte products.

Not sure about the actual amount of sodium but if it's not enough, why not just add some salt when you make it up, or is that me being too obvious?

sodium content is 412/48g serving. Basically this is the serving recommended for a 750ml bottle. I find this easy to drink and I think your issue might be with the intake of fluid, such as this one, as it is with sodium. so maybe try this one and drink more than you do normally.

I made an estimate that it is 20g, mostly sugar (obviously) in 500ml if you mix it up to the strength suggested, however, this is just an estimate. If you are worried about carbs in an energy drink, maybe try an electrolyte only drink like High5 Zero or Nuun.
