Question
Would the front light bracket fit around oversized handlbars?
I just bought a set of Raleigh lights and had to take them back as the front light bracket didn't fit on the handlebars of my bike (Specialized Dolce 2010).

The Cat Eye front bracket will definitely fit around oversize bars. It has a good secure clip and can be shortened at a later date if too long, which it probably will be. It wraps around the bar and feeds through a strong plastic thumb screw. A tip is to put a drop of oil onto the screw because mine seized up after a while, when I tried to switch it to another bike.

With great difficulty. You would have to make a bracket to suit. Probably better to buy a head lamp.

answer 2
No, not really. The Cateye EL450 would be more suitable for helmet mounting.
