Does this light use AA or AAA batteries?
Cateye's website http://www.cateye.com/sites/cateye/upload/manuals/en/EL400Manual.pdf suggests it uses 3 x AAA.

Question
How does this light fit to a helmet or a stem?
The only bracket in the box is an adjustable handlebar bracket. I don't see how this could fit to a helmet; the instructions do not show how to fit to a helmet or a stem as stated in the description on Wiggle.
The bracket does swing 90 degrees to the light but that doesn't keep the light upright if fitted to a stem. Can the light be mounted on it's side?

I have succeeded in using the handlebar strap to mount it through helmet holes, but it does wobble. Bad ight, anyway.

Sorry, it appears that Cateye have changed the bracket from a strap that could be fed through the air vents on a helmet to a newer bracket that can no longer perform this. We have now updated our description to reflect this. If you wish to return the light we are able to offer a full refund.

Hi
I am confused have read the question regarding el 410 that someone bought and did not fit on helmet. You cat eye changed the bracket and you have updated the description. Description still says for helmet,bars, etc... Have they changed the bracket back to original or is this not updated yet???

If this is the light I'm thinking of (must be as has the same description), then I would say it is definitely only for the front handlebars and wouldn't fit this to a helmet.

The correct clamp is the HS33. I'm afraid we don't currently stock this clamp type.
