The mounting sets are sold separate, and i personally installed them with disc brakes but its tricky. I would advise you to measure it directly in your bike before buying.
It depends where your eyelets are and the mounting position of your brakes.
They do sell a special disc brake front carrier.

You need to buy the fitting kit separately if you do not have mounting eyelets on your fork.

Question
Does the Tara front rack come with parts for fitting to a fork without upper dropouts?
I'd like to fit this to a CX fork but it only has lower dropouts. Are parts supplied with this product to attach the upper part of the rack if no dropouts exist?

The Tara rack does not (or at least didn't for me) come with brackets for mounting to front forks without mounting bosses. Proper mounting hardware can be ordered seperatey.

You will need a fitting kit supplied by Tubus which provides mountings on your fork. I will link them below.

We can't confirm this without trying it but the Specialized Tricross does have mounting points for front racks so there shouldn't be any issues with this.

Purchased a Tara to fit Surly rigid forks but do not seem wide enough. Is there a 'fix' for this or another low rider option?

A search online shows that other people have had the same problem and there doesn't seem to be a fix for it at this time. You will likely have to change the rack or fork. The Tara is a one peice design so perhaps you should try dual side frames instead due to the width of your fork. The Duo low rider looks like it may be suitable: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Tubus_Duo_Lowrider_Front_Rack/5360025261/

Question
Where do I get "Art.-Nr: 30013"
Ok, so I bought the Tubus Tara Front Rack & Ortlieb Front Roller Classic Panniers from you (and I didn't read the reviews) and now I find they can't be used together without the special "Art.-Nr: 30013" bottom attachment point.

Question 1 : You don't seem to carry these, where do I get them?

Thanks

Ok, to answer my own question, you don’t need it!

On the Ortlieb site there is a more detailed leaflet on the QL1 system. It includes instructions for rotating the round disc under the pannier bottom hook to increase the gap from 10 to 13mm and this is enough to secure the panniers to the Tara 14mm tube. My Ortlieb Front Roller Classic and now fitted and rock solid.

Question
What's the difference between the Nova and Tara racks?
They both seem to have the same features and carry the same load. Only thing that is different is the finish and the price!?

The functionality of the racks is the same but the Nova has a closed side frame for added adjustability and a brushed stainless steel finish for strength and exclusive looks.
