probably but need to consider the clearance of the front draillure cable from the down tube, the bracket will need to be fitted underneath the cable and might need a couple of mm clearance to avoid interference - if you dont intend on changing upp and down on the front rings it doesnt matter. The seat does destabilise the bike especially when kids are active in the back - would think twice before using something like this in a road bike even with a shorter wheel base than the urban hybrid that I use it with

This has attached successfully to two road bikes that we have with out any issues.
When checking the documentation i saw that there are a further 4 or 5 different supports that can be ordered to fit unusual frames (or the presence of panniers).
I don't know how much additional that would add to the cost though.

Yes, it does, I have an electra Amsterdam, a very Dutch looking bike, and the seat fit perfectly. However, if you have a luggage rack, you may need to purchase an extended mounting bar.
