James, These are my first pair, and after 200 miles they still feel okay. Locking in when setting off is easier than expected. For twisting out for release set them for the weakest grip and build up half a turn until you get the right grip.

The pedals come with two bolt SPD cleats. You'll need to make sure your shoes are two bolt compatible - most MTB and touring shoes are but a lot of road shoes aren't.

These pedals come with cleats but the shoe you purchase must be compatible with SPD pedals such as the DHB R1 road shoe.

Question
What is float angle ?
I prefer to use TIME road redal. Because shoes can slide laterally to lead reducing of strain for my knees.
Does this pedal have similar function as time pedal ?

These pedals do not slide laterally, I would say they are similar though. In my opinion most knee strain is caused by the angle of the foot on a vertical axis (float angle) not by the lateral position.

Float angle in this case relates to the angular range of movement, essentially how many degrees your heel can pivot sideways. This pedal has a small amount of angular float, and should be suitable for most riders without specific problems.

answer 2
These use a 2 bolt style cleat and as such this won't have the same lateral float as a time pedal. These will only have a small amount of foat.
