This is just the roller brake, you will need to order a hub to match your requirements

Question
Do you need to have a hub that can take disc brake to fit the roller brake or will any whell hub be ok?
I am considering fitting this with a fron hub electric motor which does not have disc brake fittings

These brake units are designed to fit on specific Shimano hubs as listed in the options. We can't advise trying to fit them to standard hubs and they do not fit on disc brake mountings.

Are they compatible?
Hi there, i have the IM-41 front and rear brakes and would like to upgrade to the IM-70. I have a DH-2R30-E (front) and HB-IM40 (front) and a SG8R31 (rear). Do you know if the IM-70 are compatible with these hubs?

hub is just hub. either 6 bolt or less. but mainly 6 bolts mounting for rotor. as for 41 to a 70 u gonna needed an adapter. look up brake adapter for your mounting bracket ok...
