answer 3
A laptop will fit but, you will need to put the laptop into a protective case first as the panniers are thin and will give no protection at all should you have a spill

The dimensions are approximately 39x30x6cm, so a laptop would likely fit, however the side panniers are entirely nylon / cordura and have no support, so I would advise against using them for transporting a laptop on a regular basis.

Yeah I have used it with a hardtail MTB. Wouldn't work with a full suss & I would recommend using it with a carbon seat post as it does clamp tightly and would mark/scratch/damage the post overtime.

Yes I have size 11 feet and have no problems at all. If you have size 14 feet you can always use the securing toggles on the panniers to pull them back a bit.

This should fit most bikes with no problems, however you may find it difficult to fit to some MTB's with disc brakes.

Which Rack will fit this bag
Hi there, just want to make sure I order the correct rack to go with this bag. A little confused between DX and MTX. To fit a mountain style bike.

I'm pretty sure you could use either. The choice really comes down to, have you got the lugs on the rear forks to attach the full frame, or do you have to hang all the weight off the seat post. DX needs to be bolted (with an allen key) to the rear forks once high up and also down near where the wheel attaches to the frame. If you have no lugs you need the MTX and hang it off the seat post. Even this one is quite strong and can take quite a bit of weight (something like 7.5 kilos for my little RX rack) I know my RX rack is really too short/small for it the bag, but I got away with it. Whatever you choose, you do need to make sure the rack has sides though.

Yes Search and you will find.
From a motor bikers point of view I already have 'tech wash' which is a waterproofing that you put in the washing machine and or spray on I'd recomend it. Saying that in very heavy prolonged rain it does get wet

Question
Does it attach to non-Topeak racks?
Does this bag come with any means of attaching to a non-Topeak rack, such as velcro straps or similar?
If not, are there Topeak straps available separately or do you just have to find your own way of attaching it to a rack?

The nylon / cordura material is pretty thin so I wouldn't risk anything that you care about getting wet in anything more than a light shower.
There is a compatible rain cover which I purchased from another site (Wiggle don't list it) and this fits and performs very well.

These bags are splash proof but won't hold out water in heavy rain or if submerged. We do not stock the larger rain cover for this bag.

Buy the RX (R for "Road") rack and bags for Road bikes and MTX (M for "Mountain") for mountain bikes. The MTX range appears heavier built and may not suit your needs.

The most suitable seat post rack we have is the Topeak Beam Rack which has sides that do not fix to the frame.
Do you sell the recommended rack for this bag. Topeak seem to recommend the MTX Dual Side Frame. I can't seem to find the right rack with the correct Topeak sliding mounting system on your website.

Cheaper to by DX Super Tourist rack locally. Chain reaction sell the right rack for this bag, but by the time you freight it the cost is more than local.
Also, Topeak supplied bolts for DX frames I found at M5x 15 are not long enough.
