The 26x1.95 ones that I used to fix my friends bike definitely have a metal screwed lock ring that helps prevent the valve shifting if the pressure runs lower than it ought to, yes.

This tube has a Schrader valve which is pushed through the rim with a locking ring on it to secure it in place.

The ones i bought were schrader, the valve stems were very long allowing for those deeper rims. The entire length of the valve is threaded so that it can be screwed into rims (mine dont offer this feature). The tubes also came with a groovy clear valve cap and a little nut that can be screwed down the entire length of the step to secure the valve on the inside of the rim.

The valve has a lockring that you use to keep the valve in place, it locks up against the rim for support. The tube doesn't have a valve that screws directly into the rim though.

The Schwalbe Schrader 26x1.95 that I fitted to me friends bike certainly came with bullet-point shaped, transparent plastic caps. And a screw-down metal lock ring too.

Hope that helps! :o)

Yes - don't know if all sizes are the same but 26" came with bright yellow little critters on the prestex valves.

Question
Do these tubes definitely come with a removable valve core?
I need to remove core to put sealant in tube. Please, no answers along the lines of "why not get slime tubes" - I've already got the sealant!

Ah, erm, well the two I ordered from Wiggle last week DO have removable cores! Confusing. I've got a 26" x 1.5-2.5 sat in front of me with the core removed! It's possible Schwalbe are phasing them out, I guess... Hope not as they appear to be the only co. making them.
