Plenty long enough - remember they stretch. More than enough for size 45 track shoe with absolutely every lace hole used, and plenty of spare length to finish!

one size.. you just chop the ends to get rid of any extra length and singe the ends with a match so they don't fray

answer 1
they just keep the ends of the laces tidy when you knot them

answer 2
These are just a neat way of hiding the final knot that ties the two ends together.

answer 3
The Second piece of plastic goes on the laces outside the lock mechanism and acts as a block between the lock and the knot you make on the end of the lace.

answer 4
You put them on the end after the lock just to tidy up the ends-makes them a bit neater and look better.

answer 5
One is the lace lock the other is a little end cap that you tuck the knot into if you want to.

You dont need to use the lace lock or the end cap really you can just tie a knot or use them as regular laces

To look good (it hides the knot in the laces). I'm sure you understand by now :)

answer 7
It is purely for aesthetic purposes.
It is used to hide the knot at the end of laces.

Put over the end of the laces and tie a knot. They stop the laces coming out of the locking mechanism.

answer 9
The extra bits of plastic are to cover the knotted ends of the laces. The idea is to slide them on to each end after you have positioned the lock mechanism' and then tie a knot in the lace before sliding the plastic bead over the knotted end.Thnk they just tidy it up a bit.

answer 10
Thread the laces through the locking mechanism, then through the plastic pull and tie a knot. This is then used to pull on tension while holding the locking device.

answer 11
The disc-shaped thingy with the tab is the actual lock mechanism, the other vaugely coned shaped items are used to provide neat ends that can be easily grasped to increase tension.

To install take all the plastic bits off, thread lace(s), install disc lock, adjust and trim as desired, thread 'cone ends' on - small end first, and knot each lace end behind the larger hole, then pull knot into cone, et viola!

answer 5
They are 3 mm diameter, however they are elastic, and will of course stretch, changing the diameter according to the tension put on them when being used.

answer 7
I have just measured them and i think they are slightly nearer to 4 mm. Wriggle do free delivery and so perhaps it might be worth ordering them to try? I say this because when the elastic is tensioned it is thinner and will therefore fit a smaller space, 3mm quite easily. (Imagine pulling a string of elastic between your hands and watch it getting thinner; this is what the laces do when being worn.)
