It's really handy. It seals the resevoir while you inject mineral oil into calipers. A hole in the top overflows into botttle once hose is connected. No spills, no mess.

The clamp is used to create a seal over the brake lever reservoir and provides a sealed access point for the bleed hose.

Doesn't include oil. Shimano have two sizes available on wiggle. I bought a litre but you use very little to blead.

This bleed kit does not come with the oil.

Question
XT m765 and XT m775 Lever fit
I was just wondering if the clamp fully covers both the XT m765 lever and it's newer incarnation the XT m765 lever reservoirs as they are a different size (I have one of each!)?

The pad on the clamp is very large and will cover any Shimano Reservoir
