Hi - can only answer the carbon question and yes, used it on my Planet X deep section carbon wheels and my tubulars haven't fallen off yet. Hope that helps somewhat.

Hi. I've been told that rim tape is not the best you can use for carbon rims. Use tub glue on your carbon rims. Score them lightly with very fine steel wool.

I use these tapes for my Dura-ace C50 wheels. I ride them in Tokyo and I've had no problem - There's a little room left on the edges with my wheels so I'd expect they'd probably fit OK with other standard carbon wheels too.

I used the tapes on Fulcrum Racing Speed wheels, don't know the exact measurement of rim, but would pick it as similar to your Eastons.
I rode my wheels with these tapes on in the French Alps, 35/40 degrees celcius conditions, and heat from constant braking down mountains did not appear to affect the tapes at all.

Maybe. Tufo Extreme tape works OK, although it's only designed to run with Tufo tubs. Tufo Extreme tape doe snot appear to be stocked at Wiggle)

In my opinion, the only perfect bond is to use proper tubular glue (I like Vittoria glue the best - again Wiggle do not seem to stock this item). Not hard to do well, and you can be confident there's no better bond.

This depends on the glue you use, applying new glue can soften the old glue so you don't need to remove it. If it's too old to do this or it won't soften again you can use paint remover or similar but make sure you are careful on carbon rims and check with the manufacturer of your rims before applying.
