Question
Are the supply voltage &/or frequency configurable?
Free shipping to Canada sounds good... but will the trainer actually work with 110V 60Hz supply? The Tacx website suggests I'd need the T1684... http://www.tacx.com/producten.php?language=EN&ttop=Flow&lvlMain=16&lvlSub=56&lvlSubSub=79

no, fixed voltage 210-240v, 50/60Hz

I HAVE A POLAR HR MONITOR T31 CODED WHY CAN I NOT USE THAT?

I have found from experience that some products that say they won't work with the coded T31 actually will. I guess it depends on the frequency the belt uses. You could give it a try before buying a non coded one.

by

answer 2
The trainer doesn't use a code so you need a uncoded transmitter for the trainer to recognise the belt.

does the tacx flow take 29er wheels?

The Flow will take 700cc roadie wheels, btu the extra bulk of the tyres might be the only issue. there is adjustment in the roller, but I think it might come down to how knobbly the tyres are.

My garmin one didn't (the one that came with my forerunner) so I bought a polar one instead that works fine with it. Guess it depends on your type of heartrate moitor type.

Garmin use ANT technology which is not compatible with this trainer. You will need to use a non coded HR belt such as the Polar T31 belt.
