answer 1
Yes, it can. In addition to odometer there are two distance functions. For example, on a 10 day tour, I used DISTANCE 1 to keep track of my journey for that day and reset it each morning. DISTANCE 2 kept track of my overall trip - which I reset when I got home.

answer 5
Yes it does. In fact it has two distance counters, although I never use the second one. Besides that it has an odometer - the non resettable distance meter that adds all the trips you ever made.

answer 6
Yes - it can record trip distance as it has 2 distance odometers, so I use 1 for trip which I can reset when I want and leave the other for total distance.

You need the "Cateye Enduro/Mity Computer Fitting Kits" for
Stem Mount.
It is attached using cable ties so it should fit any diameter and is oriented at 90 degrees to the normal bar mount.
However this does not include a wheel magnet which is available as a separate item.

If yours was not supplied with an integrated 'shoe'/cable/magnetic sensor plus magnet and cable ties then complain because these should all be in the box.

Question
Will this fit on a trek road bike...a lot of cheaper computers won't because of the distance between the fork and the wheel.

The sensor can extend 15mm from the fork and it is attached using cable ties.
If this is insufficient, then you could add rubber spacers to the curved seat of the sensor.
