you can use them though may want to cut off any excess skewer that protrudes through the nut using a hack saw.

I believe yes but my experience is with an old Peugoet with an 8 speed block. There is room for adjustment though hence I believe they will be fine.

You dont need to know the lengths - just road or moutain bike. Road bike rear axle length is 130mm (9 or 10 speed) mountain bike rear axle length is 135mm (XC - std).

With the lever in the closed position and measuring from the face that makes contact with the frame to the end of the skewer:
front = 132mm
rear = 166mm

They will fit either 135mm mtb or 130mm road rear hubs. The fronts are the same width on both.

Is the material on the Hope skewer nut that contacts the frame steel?
I currently have Ultegra skewers on a steel road bike. The material on the nut that contacts the frame is alloy, has worn fairly flat, and my theory is that this is what causes the drive side of the rear wheel to slip slightly forward after a while.

I'm looking for a skewer with a harder material (steel) at least on the nut side that will hopefully solve the problem.

Alloy on the lever side, bronze alloy ring on the nut side. If your skewer is slipping it needs to be tighter or the skewer itself needs to be steel since it doesnt stretch like alloy or titanium.

Sorry, may be I misread your question, but the skewers are for standard QR hubs. The forks that you mention are for 20mm Maxle hubs as the Maxle replaces the need for a skewer

You do require a 10mm axle for use with a 10mm hub. Standard QR is not suitable
