Hey mate,

it's not true as far as I know, just received them together with Speedplay pedals & cleats....and again it is a must for those "delicate" cleats

cleat covers are specially tailored to one brand and model of cleats, so cleat covers for Speedplay Zero won't fit anything else. But if you search for "cleat covers look delta" you will get hits pointing you to ones which will suit you.

I don't think these can be used by any other cleats apart from the speedplay ones which have the whole cleat/pedal interface on the bottom of the shoe rather than sharing between pedal and shoe. The covers fit over the large square section that is the speedplay cleat, I think the crank brothers use a brass cleat somewhat like the shimano spd

I seriously doubt it. These are a very precise fit for Speedplay.
